The Girls took over the Control Booth and had a GREAT time!!!
Shonda from the "Van Life Pantry" joined them and a good hardy conversation on cooking and food prep took place. They were joined by TUDDLES on the phone for a guy's perspective.
The Girls threw out a challenge to all of us: Make a dish with zucchini as the main ingredient. It can be anything you want EXCEPT for Zucchini Bread and/or Cookies. Make your dish, take a picture and along with your receipt send it to the shows email (theoldmanspodcast@gmail.com) to be shared on our facebook page. Don't forget to have your "TASTER" write a short review.

Apparently, Grammi and I have grown the 2nd - 3rd HOTTEST Pepper in the World, in our Garden, the Trinidad Scorpion. WHAT IN THE FRENCH TOAST ARE WE GONG TO DO WITH THOSE??????
We discussed a scientific study (yes, they spent money on this!) on Cats choosing to eat food easy to get to as oppose to having to work for it. DUH!!!!!!!!

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!!!!
Dena Jo shared a little History on Friday the 13th with us. FYI: this is the one and only Friday the 13th of 2021.
Grammi came into the chatroom from her secret room and called in. She faked the Old Man out. Grammi turned the staff against the Old Man so it was 3 against 1 most the time, GOOD TIMES!!!!
Did Doc Holliday in the movie "Tombstone" really say "I'm your Huckleberry" or did he say "I'm your Huckle Bearer"? We discussed it, they both have different but relevant meaning to the movie.

We started the show off with a little motivational topic: For Every Action, There is a REACTION!!
No matter what we are confronted with, Good or Bad a reaction is required. Just simply saying "I am not going to react" is a reaction. So choose wisely on how you react to actions that come your way.
From there we had a great "Today is Music History" with Dena Jo and the Old Man went thru the origins and history of some everyday sayings like "Mum's the Word".
